YMCA Adventure Pioneers is a family program designed for a parent and his or her 3 year old to kindergarten child and their family. All Adventure Pioneers Events are for the whole family. After the children enters 1st grade the children and their dad can go into the Adventure Guides or Adventure Princesses.

Pioneer and Parent - Mom or dad and son/daughter

Big Creek Federation - Group of families within the Ridgewood YMCA Adventure Pioneers

Big Creek Federation gatherings - Families meet monthly for adventures such as a parade, party, or campout.  Most all events are either FREE or low cost.

Family-oriented activities - Program activities typically include games, crafts, songs, stories, skits, camping, and family adventures.
